Protecting the Rights of Racialized Workers in Alberta.

On March 21, 2025, Calgary Immigrants for Immigrants Association (CIIA) and Action Dignity successfully hosted a pivotal workshop on "Protecting the Rights of Racialized Workers in Alberta." This workshop aimed to raise awareness and empower racialized workers by providing crucial information about their rights and protections in the workplace.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to MCG College for their generosity in providing the space to make this workshop possible. Their support played a key role in the success of this important event. Furthermore, we are deeply grateful to the Maskan Family Association for being such a welcoming and accommodating partner. Their commitment to fostering community engagement and providing valuable resources for the immigrant community is truly commendable.

We are incredibly proud of the collaborative spirit that made this workshop a success, and we deeply value these partnerships. We look forward to more fruitful collaborations in the future as we continue to work towards protecting the rights and well-being of racialized workers in Alberta. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
